Golden Meadow Plant Materials Center
|
Golden Meadow Plant Materials Center established in 1989 |
 |
Louisiana is losing about 25 square miles of coastal wetlands to erosion
every year. The
Golden Meadow
Plant Materials Center provides plant solutions for the southern
coastal zones of Louisiana and Mississippi. The Center has developed
plants and new technology for the reestablishment and protection of
coastal shorelines, dunes and marsh areas.
