Golden Meadow Plant Materials Center

Golden Meadow Plant Materials Center established in 1989
Golden Meaddow Plant Materials Center Louisiana is losing about 25 square miles of coastal wetlands to erosion every year. The Golden Meadow Plant Materials Center provides plant solutions for the southern coastal zones of Louisiana and Mississippi. The Center has developed plants and new technology for the reestablishment and protection of coastal shorelines, dunes and marsh areas.
